When it comes to looking after your health, it’s easy to forget about your feet. But healthy feet are an important part of your overall wellbeing. Foot problems can have a huge impact on your quality of life. If they occur, Podiatry Place is your step in the right direction. We offer Podiatry for the whole family. From children to elderly, pain and injury to skin and nail care we are here to help.
Podiatrists are experts in foot, ankle and lower limb health. They can help to prevent, diagnose, and treat a wide range of foot conditions. We can also treat foot problems that arise from underlying medical conditions.
You don’t need a referral to see our Podiatrist-just make an appointment and let us take care of you.
Your first appointment
Your initial consultation will take up to 1 hour and will include a medical history, assessment and treatment of your problem and a plan to get you on your feet again. Your podiatrist’s recommendations/treatment might include general foot care and advice, exercises, orthotics, footwear, and medication.
To prepare for your appointment please bring the following to your consultation (if applicable):
- List of your current medications
- Any other relevant medical history
- Results of any investigations – X-rays, scans or pathology reports
- Current orthotics and footwear
- ACC claim number
- Private health fund details
Payment in full is expected at the time of consultation. Podiatry Place accepts cash & EFTPOS.
Cancellation Policy – We ask that you contact us with sufficient notice, should you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee.
How to find us
We are located at the Harley Street Medical Practice at 14 Harley Street. We have plenty of parking underneath our building for Podiatry Place customers. A lift is available for those patients who require it.
